Iggy Azalea Seeks Redemption in 'Savior' Video

Iggy Azalea featuring Quavo, "Savior"

Since the start of the new year, Iggy Azalea has been feverishly unloading any baggage from her past in hopes of starting anew.

First, she shifted from her original home label of Def Jam Recordings over to Island Recordings after watching her sophomore album, Digital Distortion, be stalled for several years. Then, she released her Quavo-assisted single "Savior." On Thursday (March 1), Azalea returned and unveiled the visuals for her latest track, sans Quavo.

Directed by Colin Tilley, Azalea's new video takes place in a church, where she first appears lying down on a bed, clad in a white dress. "Yeah, I'm in a different place, I need someone to hold on to/ I been sendin' up a prayer hope the call gets through," she buoyantly raps. Later, she changes clothes and appears in a black dress with an illuminated halo resting on her head.

Hungry to overcome her hindrances, Azalea desperately seeks resolution, rapping, "My path got muddy, I feel like my feet trapped/ Can you give me the strength now to beat that?" Later, she gets inside a tub and receives a baptism, in hopes of washing away her past mistakes.
